An intimate and unique recording environment...
This incredible facility was constructed by converting an old bomb shelter from the 1940's into a fully isolated and acoustically treated recording studio. Bunker Studios is designed to provide recordings with impact for both musicians and businesses. With a spacious recording room for multiple instruments, it is possible to record tracks separately or all at the same time. Singers can also access a separate vocal booth if they desire to lay down vocal tracks. As for conferencing, a high grade visual camera interface with talkback has been installed in the studio, meaning you have all the versatility you'll ever need within the studio in terms of communication and sound.
Complementing this is an array of custom analogue gear such as JLM designed preamps and compressors, Digidesign Eleven rack fx units an abundance of high quality microphones that will produce commercial quality material. The centrepiece for The Bunker is the Toft ATB24, a Malcom Toft custom mixing console based on the classic Trident series console found in many top of the line studios around the world.
And for all you singer/songwriters out there: DON'T HAVE A BAND? Bunker has access to the best musicians in Gympie and the surrounding coastal areas. These include drummers, bass players, lead/rhythm guitarists, vocalists and keyboardists, as well as the more traditional players of acoustic instruments such as mandolins, bouzoukis etc ...
Bunker Studios set rate is $60/hr or $400/day.
